Angelina Oberdan

Biography
Angelina Oberdan was awarded the Joyce Scantlebury Award for Poetry, judged by Cody Walker (2010), as she received an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Poetry) and an M.A. in English from McNeese State University. She has participated in various poetry readings, festivals, and conferences nationally and internationally. Her poems have appeared in journals such as Cold Mountain Review, Italian Americana, Louisiana Literature, Mobius, Southern Indiana Review, and Yemassee. She edited Pioneering Italian American Culture: Escaping la vita della cucina, Essays and Interview by and with Daniela Gioseffi, which was published by Bordighera Press at CUNY (2013).
