Patrice Melnick

 

 

Biography

 

Patrice Melnick has published two memoirs: Contraband Po-boy: from Diagnosis Back to Life (Catalyst Book Press) and Turning Up the Volume (Xavier Press). Her writing appears in New Orleans: What Can’t Be Lost (UL Press) and in many literary journals. Melnick is the director of The Festival of Words, which promotes the literary arts in rural Louisiana communities.
